several DLC-coated shock shaft sets for many of today’s electric touring cars. The DLC coat is well-known from the internals of nitro engine where it saves crankshafts and piston rods from excessive wear and it is now also used on shock shafts where it can make for a smoother suspension feel thanks to its slick anti-stick characteristics. The shock shafts come in sets of four or two and are available for kits such as the Xray T4’18/17, Yokomo BD8/BD7 as well as the Mugen MTC1.
