Taillight Overlays

We created these overlays when the Ford Mustang came out.  Comes with 6 pieces.  Each piece is unique to the portion of the tail light they cover.  Please note it is cut deliberately to provide relief area and may appear to have sharper edges in some areas.  Once installed, you do not see these corners.
AVAILABLE MATERIALS

1. Dark Smoke –  Standard dark smoke material.  Made in Germany.
2. Dark Smoke LX+ – Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles).  Made in the USA.
3. Light Smoke – Standard dark smoke material.  Made in Germany.
4. Dark Smoke Stealth – Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles).  Made in the USA.
5. Dark Smoke Honeycomb – Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles).  Modified light pattern when lit.  Made in the USA.
6. Dark Smoke Carbon Fiber – Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles).  Modified light pattern when lit.  Made in the USA.
7. Dark Smoke Galaxy – Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles).  A galaxy full of metallic flake in the light.  Appears similar to standard dark smoke when backlit.  Made in the USA.

INSTRUCTIONS

Clean the application and surrounding areas prior to applying.  We recommend the following items for installation:

• Microfiber
• Detailing Spray
• Soapy Water 
• Heat Gun or Hair Dryer
• Felt Lined Squegee 

Choose any of the pieces to start with.  They are labeled on the back side as to which position they are for.  We use soapy water so that the vinyl can be slid around before you push the water out with a felt lined squegee or your fingers.

Lay as much of the vinyl down as possible before switching to using light heat to stretch the materials.  The standard dark and light smoke do not have air release channels and do not stretch as much without heat.  Use the lowest amount of heat possible to do the install as to not damage the material or over stretch it.

Stealth, Honeycomb, LX+, Galaxy, and Carbon Fiber materials have air egress channels to make the installation a little easier.  They are thicker and are a little easier to stretch.  The purpose of the air egress channels is mainly to allow the air to escape and prevent bubbles.  Using the soapy water also helps to get rid of bubbles.

Once you are happy with the application of the first piece, continue until all 6 are installed.
